Grand opening

IamUkraine is officially open.

The official opening of the Art exhibition dedicated to the Russian aggression in Ukraine has happened last Saturday in a beautiful Old Church in Delft.

Impressive setting of the location created a magical experience for more than 100 guests that came to see and support Ukrainian artists.

The exhibition was opened by the tragical sounds of sirens and beautiful vocals of Veronika Zablotska and Lana Poort, accompanied by the piano performance by Daan Karstens.

Alisa Lavrenchenko and Anna Nikitina, the founders of the project have given a welcoming introduction speech followed by the speeches of the Major of the city Delft Marja van Besterveldt and the 1st Honorary Consul of Ukraine to the Netherlands Karel Burger Dirven.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony the guests were invited to try some Ukrainian delights served by the Ukrainian refugees that currently live in Delft.

IamUkraine is a social art project. All team members work on a voluntary basis.
